Chamber Music New Zealand is delighted to invite you to a free dance and music workshop led by Vivek Kinra and Mudra, New Zealand’s premiere Indian Classical Dance company - an exciting journey into world of Classical Indian dance and music of Bharata Natyam.

Experience basic dance movements, hand gestures, and rhythmic patterns of Bharata Natyam under the mentorship of dance maestro Vivek Kinra. The learning will be enriched by a live ensemble of esteemed South Indian musicians, where you can truly immerse in the harmony between music and dance.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn in a welcoming and fun environment. This is a workshop tailored for all levels of dance and music expertise who will be guided through the world of Classical Indian dance and music, with the support and encouragement of the Mudra Dance Company and visiting musicians.
