Life Drawing- With a mindful union of mind and body engage your creativity in an unconventional approach to life drawing designed to clear inhibitions and preconceptions.


Compassionate Inquiry - With a calm mind, a playful self-acceptance, and a sense of freedom, survey your true self.

Each workshop includes

  • 1 hour of guided Vinyasa Yoga
  • 1 hour of directed Life Drawing
  • 1 hour of Compassionate Inquiry

10am - 3pm

This fun little market will have a selection of:
* Vintage / retro clothing, shoes, accessories
* Vintage / retro homewares, toys, collectables, ceramics, pottery, textiles, books, comics etc
* New crafts / art that have been upcycled from vintage / retro items & fabrics

Peruse the various treasures and stunning items for sale, then head down to one of the local cafes for food and drink.

Each stall will have either cash or EFTPOS facilities available, however it is best to bring cash to the market too.

This hands on class will teach you the basics of doing dot art mandala, which is a very mindful art technique. You will learn about the tools, paints, how to create your own mandala and create your own piece or pieces to take home.

Chamber Music New Zealand is delighted to invite you to a free dance and music workshop led by Vivek Kinra and Mudra, New Zealand’s premiere Indian Classical Dance company - an exciting journey into world of Classical Indian dance and music of Bharata Natyam.

Experience basic dance movements, hand gestures, and rhythmic patterns of Bharata Natyam under the mentorship of dance maestro Vivek Kinra. The learning will be enriched by a live ensemble of esteemed South Indian musicians, where you can truly immerse in the harmony between music and dance.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn in a welcoming and fun environment. This is a workshop tailored for all levels of dance and music expertise who will be guided through the world of Classical Indian dance and music, with the support and encouragement of the Mudra Dance Company and visiting musicians.

Discover the secrets behind this performance at a community workshop - come and experience the joy of Indian classical dance!
