My works are a series of traditional and modern wooden and pounamu sculptured ocean craft. Each work is inspired by the origin and artworks of surfboard making pre 19th century in Polynesia. Surfboard making and artistic designs were once a central part of society. My works
explore the ties the Pacific Ocean "The Great Connector" has with our people and coastlines.
